五年: 服饰&美容

It’s already five years that VOGUE CHINA had been on the market.
But it’s vivid in my mind what my lecturer told me when I was still a fashion design student at Politecnico. “Now the market for fashion is not more America or Europe: they are over; the new market is China […] and VOGUE is going to be published also in that country”.

Five years, and the quality is not bad at all. Five years for a fashion magazine that tries to spread in a country [that use to be communist] a variety of many style and taste different from the one imposed by Mao. This magazine is promoting, beside Western and Japanese fashion [already well know all around the world], Chinese designer and models. A magazine that has is own point of view about fashion and visual communication.

P.S. Sorry for the bad quality of the pictures, but this magazine is huge and heavy. I’m too lazy to carry it in any shop that has an A3size scanner.
