Are the expat polite?

Here in shanghai there are million of Chinese and thousand of expat.
From time to time living together is not easy. Obviously the main point is different background, which means different behave during daily life.

As an expat you are never ever going to spit on the sidewalk; never speak loudly at the phone; never ever (no way I’m going to do that! I’m from Milan, capital of prêt-à-porter!) going out wearing you pyjamas. Beside those weird manners, generally, as a guess in this city, you are the one that has to adjust yourself. But, for many reason (and the stronger one is that expat are better than Chinese), this doesn’t happen often.
Expat bull Chinese; expat speak with every waitress in a rude way; expat never make mistake, if someone doesn’t understand them is not their fault; expat take their own life here like they are the king and all the Chinese their slaves.

Above all this thing: expat require that Chinese adjust themselves according to a western style.
Is it funny, don’t you think so?

Dear Ofelia,
a century ago western people (italians too)were in China by guns and used to shoot. Chairman Mao fought and won them. Nowdays expat are impolite. Believe me: nowdays is better for China's people
